Priorities
Combating Fraud
I believe Minnesotans deserve a government that is honest, accountable, and worthy of their trust. Too many people feel like their voices are not reaching Saint Paul, and too often they worry that government is not following through for the people it serves. I am running to restore accountability in government, crack down on fraud and abuse, and make sure taxpayer dollars are spent the way they are intended. Public service should be about results, transparency, and responsibility, and I will fight every day to make sure government works for everyday families, not special interests or bad actors.
For 21 years, including 13 years as a Captain in Rochester, I served as a firefighter, and I have seen firsthand what it takes to keep people safe. Public safety is not an abstract issue to me. It is personal, and it has been the work of my life. As a Blaine City Council Member, I have continued leading efforts to make our communities safer, and I know that strong public safety means supporting first responders, addressing neighborhood concerns, improving traffic safety, and making sure families feel secure in their homes and schools. I will bring that same steady, experienced leadership to the State Senate.
Safer Communities
Make Life more Affordable
Families across our district are feeling squeezed by rising costs, and they deserve leaders who understand that pressure and are ready to act. Making life more affordable means focusing on the everyday costs that stretch family budgets, listening to what working people are facing, and pursuing practical solutions that help people keep more of what they earn. I want government to ease burdens on families, not add to them, and I will stay focused on lowering costs where it matters most.
Lower Healthcare Costs
Healthy communities are stronger communities, but too many Minnesotans are worried about whether they can afford the care they need. I believe no family should have to choose between their health and their financial security. My approach is rooted in service and common sense: listen to people, focus on what is actually driving costs, and work toward solutions that make health care more affordable and accessible. In the Senate I will keep fighting to lower health care costs and help families get the support they need.
As a paraprofessional at Blaine High School, helping to educate our kids is not just a talking point for me. It is part of my daily life. I know that strong schools depend on supporting students, respecting educators, and making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed. Minnesota families want schools that prepare kids for the future and give them the tools they need to thrive. I will fight for better schools by bringing a practical, student-centered perspective to Saint Paul and making sure education decisions are shaped by the people who know our kids best.
Strengthen Education
A stronger economy starts with stronger communities. I believe economic development should mean creating places where families can afford to live, workers can find opportunity, and local businesses can grow and succeed. My public service has always been focused on building safer, healthier, and more affordable communities, because those are the foundations of lasting economic growth. When government listens, follows through, and invests wisely, communities can thrive. In the State Senate, I will work to expand opportunity, support local growth, and help build an economy that works for everyone in our district.
